This role supports a high-tech, temperature-controlled warehouse by performing a mix of picking, packing, receiving, and inventory control activities across multiple shifts. You will verify incoming materials, accurately prepare orders for production and direct shipment, and help maintain an organized, efficient, and quality-focused operation. The position offers cross-training across key warehouse functions and requires strong attention to detail, comfort with technology, and the ability to work occasional Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming materials against purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy of items, quantities, and documentation.
• Accurately pick, break down, and quality check orders for production in a timely manner, ensuring the right parts reach the correct internal teams.
• Pick and prepare orders that ship directly to customers, maintaining high accuracy and quality standards.
• Operate a stand-up reach truck and other Class V forklifts in accordance with OSHA safety requirements, when needed.
• Prepare skids for freight shipments, including properly wrapping and strapping pallets to secure products for transport.
• Stock bins and shelves with parts from receiving carts, the receiving area, and return-to-stock locations to keep inventory organized and accessible.
• Package systems and parts for outbound shipments, ensuring proper labeling, protection, and presentation.
• Perform quality control checks on systems and parts before shipment to confirm they meet required specifications.
• Check in returned materials, including RMAs (Return Material Authorizations) and RTVs (Return to Vendor), and ensure they are properly documented and routed.
• Report damages and discrepancies promptly for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.
• Ensure products are received from vendors in a timely and accurate manner, helping to maintain inventory integrity and availability.
• Support the preparation of skids for freight shipments on a recurring basis, including wrapping and strapping as required.
• Participate actively in monthly meetings by sharing ideas, feedback, and suggestions for process improvements.
• Assist with semi-annual physical inventories and weekly cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records.
• Use RF scanners and computers, including web browsers and Chromebooks, to manage orders, inventory, labels, and shipping documentation.
• Print and apply labels accurately to orders, bins, and shipments as part of the order fulfillment process.
• Work collaboratively across picking, packaging, and receiving functions as part of a cross-trained warehouse team.
• Work scheduled shifts (1st or 2nd) and be willing to support required Saturdays, including the first and last Saturday of the month, as needed.

Essential Skills

• 1 to 3 years of warehouse experience.
• 1 to 3 years of RF scanner experience.
• 1 to 3 years of picking experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to use a computer and navigate a web browser from day one.
• Ability to work comfortably with technology such as RF scanners, Chromebooks, and label printing tools.
• Comfort reading very small printed labels with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily tasks.
• Ability to read and write in English to follow instructions, documentation, and safety guidelines.
• Willingness and desire to work Saturdays, including required Saturdays when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, receiving, and quality control tasks.
• Comfort working in a high-technology warehouse environment with minimal equipment use beyond what is required.
• Capability to operate or learn to operate a stand-up reach truck and other Class V forklifts in compliance with OSHA requirements.

Work Environment

The facility focuses on building various types of computers and servers for a diverse set of customers and operates as a high-technology, temperature-controlled warehouse. The environment is extremely clean, very organized, and designed to support precision work with advanced systems and components. Employees can wear comfortable attire of their choice and are allowed to wear headphones during their shift, creating a relaxed yet professional atmosphere. The site features a large cafeteria stocked with free healthy snacks and drinks, along with amenities such as a foosball table, other recreational activities, and a large TV for use during breaks. Both the warehouse and production areas are well-maintained, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness, organization, and safety. Work is performed on structured 1st shift (approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) or 2nd shift (approximately 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.), with potential required Saturday work, including the first and last Saturday of the month, depending on business needs. The role involves regular use of computers, web browsers, RF scanners, Chromebooks, and label printers, with limited use of material handling equipment beyond what is necessary for safe and efficient operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
