Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification with a Special Education (SPED) endorsement
• Previous experience developing and implementing IEPs (preferred)
• Skilled in working with students who require varying levels of academic support
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to students based on individualized plans in a supportive, in-person environment
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs aligned with each student’s unique goals and learning requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, instructional assistants, and related service providers
• Maintain ongoing communication with families and ensure progress monitoring and reporting is accurate and timely
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that helps all students reach their goals
