Tableau Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a Tableau Administrator for a Contract with a client in Stamford, CT (Remote). The ideal candidate will manage and operate Tableau Server environments to ensure secure, highperformance delivery of dashboards and analytics content.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Tableau Administrator Job Responsibilities include:

• Install, configure, and maintain Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud environments to ensure reliable delivery.
• Perform server maintenance tasks including upgrades, backups, restores, and performance tuning.
• Manage users, groups, sites, permissions, and projects to enforce data security and governance.
• Monitor server health, licenses, jobs, and usage patterns; troubleshoot failures and performance issues.
• Publish, organize, and support Tableau dashboards, data sources, and extracts for business users.
• Create technical documentation, designs, and user guides while providing ongoing Tableau user support.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
• 6-8 years of experience administering and supporting Tableau Server/Cloud environments.
• Strong handson expertise in Tableau Server administration, including user/permission management, performance monitoring, and server maintenance.
• Proven experience managing Tableau content, data sources, security, and providing technical support to enterprise BI users.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
