Position Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading warehouse operations at the Buffalo, NY facility, including receiving, inventory control, material handling, order picking, packing, shipping, freight coordination, staff supervision, safety, and process improvement. This role ensures products move through the facility accurately, safely, efficiently, and on time while supporting internal teams, customers, vendors, and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, schedule, and develop warehouse and logistics personnel, including cross‑training team members to ensure adequate coverage and continued performance improvement. Oversee daily receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, shipping, and material handling activities to ensure accurate and timely movement of product through the facility. Maintain inventory accuracy through organized storage locations, cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and prompt resolution of discrepancies. Coordinate freight, carrier communication, shipping documentation, packaging, labeling, and outbound shipment scheduling to meet customer and business requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and applicable regulations. Communicate business goals, priorities, and performance expectations clearly to the warehouse team while supporting internal customers, external customers, vendors, and management. Prepare and maintain timely warehouse records, reports, KPIs, and operational documentation related to inventory, productivity, shipping, receiving, freight, and safety. Identify and implement improvements to warehouse layout, workflow, facilities, productivity, cost control, quality, and 5S/continuous improvement practices. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of warehouse operations experience; warehouse management or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory control, material handling, order fulfillment, and freight/logistics coordination. Ability to organize, lead, coach, and motivate warehouse and logistics staff in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with associates, customers, vendors, carriers, and management. Strong time management, organizational, basic math, computer, and problem‑solving skills; experience with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office preferred. Forklift experience required or preferred; international shipping and 5S/lean warehouse experience are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. and perform warehouse‑related physical activities including lifting, bending, standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
