Associate Attorney – Probate, Trust & Estate Litigation South Florida | Hybrid Working Available Our client, a well-established and growing private client law firm in South Florida, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its expanding Probate, Trust & Estate Litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with at least three years of litigation experience who is looking to develop a specialist practice in probate, trust, fiduciary, and estate disputes while also gaining exposure to sophisticated estate planning, administration, and tax-related matters. Key Responsibilities Manage and support probate, trust, estate, fiduciary, and guardianship litigation matters. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal memoranda. Conduct legal research and assist with litigation strategy development. Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances. Represent trustees, personal representatives, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, and other interested parties in contested matters. Advise clients on probate and trust administration issues arising from disputes. Assist with estate planning and wealth transfer matters where appropriate. Collaborate with accountants, financial advisers, and other professional advisers on client matters. Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and practical legal guidance. Candidate Profile Required Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active membership in the Florida Bar. Minimum of 3 years' litigation experience. Experience in probate litigation, trust litigation, fiduciary disputes, estate litigation, commercial litigation, or a closely related practice area. Strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills. Excellent interpersonal and client management abilities. Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively. Preferred Experience with probate and trust administration. Estate planning experience. Knowledge of trusts and estates law. Familiarity with estate, gift, fiduciary, or trust taxation. Tax law experience or an interest in developing expertise in tax-related private client matters. Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, families, or business owners.
