Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and employees. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:30 PMTue08:00 AM - 04:30 PMThur08:00 AM - 04:30 PMFri08:15 AM - 05:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points, banking areas, and the surrounding property while maintaining awareness of unusual activity and reporting concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures. Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as directed. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree. Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
