As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol a government location, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 08:00 PMTue06:15 AM - 02:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 08:00 PMFri06:15 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location. Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas; verify authorized access in accordance with established procedures; and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, public spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift documentation accurately and promptly. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
