As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established channels as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site operations. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Customer service experience is preferred. X‑ray screening experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
