Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Observation and Reporting in Ellenwood, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe facility activity, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and report concerns promptly. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations. Monitor access points and observe inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian activity, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
