Security Officer Unarmed Loss Prevention Patrol

As a Security Officer Unarmed Loss Prevention Patrol in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine patrols and reporting while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized personnel and visitors, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
