Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Surveillance in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while reporting observations and responding to site needs. Pay Rate: $16.39 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, entry points, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor employee, visitor, and delivery-driver access; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
