Senior Associate, Insurance

I am working with a global insurance group who are looking for two investment professionals to join their team in New York - one focused on Fixed Income and one focused on Alternative Investments . Responsibilities Asset Allocation & Portfolio Construction: Develop and optimize strategic asset allocations across insurance portfolios, incorporating liability profiles, capital requirements, cash flows, market conditions, and relative value across asset classes. Portfolio Construction for M&A: Partner with the M&A team on acquisition opportunities by assessing existing investment portfolios, evaluating repositioning opportunities, and constructing portfolios that balance yield, risk, liquidity, regulatory, and cedant constraints. Investment Strategy & Idea Generation: Identify market opportunities and develop investment strategies designed to enhance risk-adjusted returns and/or reduce portfolio volatility, working closely with senior investment professionals and cross-functional teams. Specialist Investment Expertise: Bring deep expertise in either Fixed Income or Alternative Investments , including evaluating asset classes, external managers, portfolio optimization, and the use of investment strategies that complement existing portfolios. Manager Selection & Portfolio Oversight: Conduct due diligence and ongoing assessment of external investment managers, while monitoring portfolio positioning and making recommendations on allocation, manager selection, and portfolio repositioning. #J-18808-Ljbffr Alexander Chapman
