Senior Tax Accountant

To support tax compliance and optimize client strategies, the full-time Senior Tax Accountant will review and perfect tax returns, conduct in-depth research on tax laws, and mentor staff while working remotely. Key responsibilities Review and oversee the preparation of complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns Conduct research on tax issues and prepare insightful memos for client and IRS reviews Mentor staff and develop quality control procedures to ensure compliance with tax laws Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA or EA certification preferred or currently pursuing 2+ years of public accounting experience Expertise in technical research and writing Experience with Renewable Fuels is a plus
