This position will assist with all facets of US federal and state income tax calculations and reporting. Key Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of the worldwide annual tax provision, including supporting documentation for the US federal and state tax provisions, analysis of uncertain tax positions, review of the tax account reconciliations, and journal entriesPrepare federal and state return-to-provision calculationsAssist in the preparation of the federal and state cash tax forecastsPrepare and file federal and state corporate income tax returns, including book-to-tax adjustments, related documentation, and return proformasCalculate and file federal and state income tax extensions and quarterly estimated tax paymentsAssist in the documentation and review of federal and state research and experimentation tax creditsAssist in the documentation and review of the federal and state fixed asset tax depreciation calculationsAssist in the review and tracking of US income tax notices and auditsDemonstrates a working knowledge of tax law including the ability to perform tax research and to prepare technical memorandums, as requiredAssist in the integration of US entities for restructuring activity, as neededOther tasks or special projects as requestedProfessional Requirements:3+ years of experience working in a corporate tax function or public accounting firm preparing corporate income tax returns and tax provisionsWorking knowledge of ASC 740 as it relates to multinational corporationsWorking knowledge of Federal corporate tax lawWorking knowledge of OneSource Income Tax and Tax Provision softwareExperience in leveraging technology to create more efficient tax processesPersonal Attributes:Demonstrates a high level of respect and integrity with all interactionsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent listening and interpersonal skillsCritical thinkingThink clearly, supported by facts, logic, and solid judgmentAccurately identify the core issues and perspectives that are central to the decision or problemStrong customer-service orientation, with meticulous attention to detailAbility to communicate ideas in both technical and non-technical languageAbility to perform reviews and coaching of team membersAbility to effectively self-manage multiple workflows and fluctuations in workloadHighly self-motivated and directedAbility and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentExperience working with third-party or external stakeholdersExperience/EducationB.S. degree in Accounting requiredCurrent CPA or EA license preferred, but not requiredMasters in Tax a plusMicrosoft Office Suite of products, SAP, Power BI, OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax, Thomson Reuters CheckpointAt Bose, you're inspired to be and do your best and are rewarded for your unique talents! The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Framingham, Massachusetts is: $86,100-$118,350.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
