• Schedule: 5 days/week, 8-hour days, starting at 8:00 AM or 11:00 AM, with 1-2 evening shifts; flexibility for 12-hour shifts contingent on clinic site
• Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours
• Employment Type: Contract / Locum
• Licensure: California medical license required; DEA license required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS; Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine (Board Eligible considered with good explanation)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in family or internal medicine, bilingual Spanish highly preferred
• Travel/Expenses: Reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other eligible expenses

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine services at multiple clinic sites in LA near Venice Beach
• Manage an average of 18 patients daily, focusing on primary care and preventative health measures
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
• Collaborate with RNs, LVNs, Medical Assistants, and behavioral health staff on-site to ensure quality patient care
• Adhere to all clinic protocols, safety procedures, and documentation standards
• Support clinic team efforts to meet patient volume and care goals
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered clinical environment

What You Need

Required:

• CA medical license in good standing
• DEA license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in family or internal medicine
• Bilingual in Spanish or medical Spanish strongly preferred
• Experience working with Epic EMR
• Clear background; no major malpractice cases

Preferred:

• Board Certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Flexibility for various shift lengths and scheduling arrangements
