Location: Washington, DC (Remote)

Duration: 12 Months Rate: $42/hr on 1099/C2C

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our client's team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field, coupled with a minimum of five years' experience in business analysis, with a focus on product management within an agile environment. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other agile project management software is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effectively conveying technical and non-technical information to diverse audiences. Additionally, the candidate should exhibit exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and experience in negotiation and conflict management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate multiple concurrent workshops, designing effective presentations that resonate with clients.
• Rapidly learn existing business processes and integrate knowledge from various disciplines to devise optimal business solutions.
• Collaborate closely with peers and team members in a cooperative manner to ensure compliance with guidelines, controls, policies, and procedures.
• Define acceptance criteria in partnership with business or product owners, ensuring expectations and requirements are met and managed.
• Utilize deep understanding of agile methodologies to create user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done.
• Engage stakeholders and team members to lead workshops, facilitate decision-making, and influence project outcomes positively.
• Leverage experience in the travel/airline industry or with Enterprise Applications to enhance project understanding and execution.
• Familiarity with Distributed Systems such as E-Commerce sites, Kiosks, Point of Sale (POS) Systems, and Mobile Devices to effectively analyze and improve systems.
• Pursue continuous learning and development, maintaining relevance in evolving business and technology landscapes.
