Description The Aero Operations AI Team at Lockheed Martin Aerospace is seeking a senior data scientist analyst to develop, deploy, and maintain AI‑based solutions tailored for production operations. This role focuses on applying advanced artificial intelligence techniques to solve complex operational challenges, enhancing efficiency and driving productivity. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, AI/ML or related field. Proficiency in Python and foundational machine learning concepts, with the ability to independently develop, train, and evaluate models. Experience in developing, training, and deploying deep learning models using TensorFlow and PyTorch. Demonstrated expertise in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and performance validation of AI models. Understanding of agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git). Desired Skills Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, AI/ML or related field. Familiarity with Computer Vision (CV) models, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI (GenAI). Experience with GenAI Coding Assistants and agentic AI frameworks. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data catalog tools. Experience with aircraft manufacturing processes. Strong organizational and communication skills. Additional Information Location: Fort Worth, TX or Marietta, GA. Clearance Level: None.
