• Managing imaging equipment with care and reporting any malfunctions without delay
• Documenting procedures accurately and maintaining patient records within the electronic medical system

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent organization
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification favored
