Managing payroll and benefits operations, the full-time Payroll and Benefits Specialist will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, maintain compliance with payroll tax regulations, and administer employee benefits while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including validation of payroll inputs and resolution of discrepancies Monitor state and local payroll tax compliance, managing registrations and filings for multi-state operations Administer employee benefit programs, serving as the primary contact for benefits-related inquiries and managing open enrollment Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in payroll, payroll tax, or benefits administration Proven ability to manage payroll for a multi-state employee population Strong knowledge of state and local payroll tax compliance and employee benefits administration Proficiency with payroll or HRIS platforms, with Rippling experience preferred Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
