Step into a meaningful role supporting middle school students as an Intervention Specialist. Three full-time contract positions are open, each offering the chance to inspire learning and contribute to students’ growth through the end of the school year. These opportunities are conveniently located just east of Columbus, providing a rewarding environment to practice your specialized skills.

Openings include:

• One cross-categorical Intervention Specialist
• One general Intervention Specialist
• One MDLIC (multiple disabilities) Intervention Specialist, with classrooms capped at 8 students and two paraprofessionals for support

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience or comfort working with middle school-aged children
• Ability to promptly adapt lesson plans to meet student IEPs
• Knowledge of academic and behavioral interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly with fellow educators and support staff
• Readiness to start as soon as possible and commit through May 28th

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs
• Foster inclusive and supportive classroom environments
• Differentiate instruction for a variety of learning needs
• Collaborate with team members, including paraprofessionals, to ensure student success
• Track and report student progress regularly
• Communicate with families to support student achievement
