Make an immediate impact on students' lives in a supportive elementary school environment as an Intervention Specialist. Openings are available just east of Columbus, OH for motivated Special Education Teachers to join a passionate team for the remainder of the school year. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), contract position running ASAP through May 28th.

Openings include:

• 1 BFLIC SPED (Behavioral unit – capped at 12 students, plus a paraeducator in each class)
• 3 MDLIC SPED (Multiple Disabilities classrooms – capped at 8 students, each with two paraeducators)
• 1 Cross-Categorical SPED

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver effective instruction to students in small classroom settings
• Adapt lessons to meet a variety of learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with classroom paras, counselors, and school staff
• Work closely with families and support teams to ensure student growth
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education licensure in Ohio, or the ability to obtain one
• Experience in behavioral, multiple disabilities, or cross-categorical settings is highly valued
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families
