About the Role

The TikTok Shop Growth & Operations Manager leads the day-to-day strategy, performance, operations, and client management of assigned TikTok Shop accounts. This role connects TikTok Shop operations, ecommerce systems, paid media, reporting, creator partnerships, and client stakeholders to keep each Shop launch-ready and positioned for sustainable GMV growth. Reporting to the Associate Director of TikTok Shop, this person leads client accounts and builds the workflows, standards, and reporting processes needed to scale Blue Wheel's practice. This hands-on senior role requires comfort troubleshooting Seller Center issues, evaluating GMV and advertising performance, supporting client meetings, managing launches, and coordinating cross-functional action.

Key Responsibilities

TikTok Shop Strategy and GMV Growth

• Execute the strategic roadmap and ongoing growth plan for assigned TikTok Shop accounts.
• Support client objectives into Shop priorities, promotional plans, investment recommendations, and measurable performance goals.
• Analyze GMV, traffic, conversion, advertising, product, promotional, and operational performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Recommend product assortment, hero SKUs, bundles, pricing, discounting, merchandising, and seasonal initiatives.
• Develop integrated account plans across Shop operations, creator activity, promotions, paid amplification, inventory, and client priorities.
• Identify responsible expansion opportunities across products, brands, services, markets, or TikTok Shop capabilities.

Launch and Brand Onboarding

• Support new TikTok Shop launches from kickoff through operational readiness and post-launch stabilization.
• Support launch roadmaps, timelines, ownership matrices, dependencies, and escalation plans.
• Coordinate required business, operational, catalog, payment, fulfillment, and platform-access inputs.
• Ensure Seller Center, Shopify, product feeds, paid media, tracking, and reporting systems are connected and launch-ready.
• Coordinate cross-functional readiness across client and internal teams.
• Maintain launch checklists, issue logs, status trackers, and go-live criteria.
• Identify launch risks early and communicate effects on timeline, budget, media, creator activation, or forecasted performance.
• Manage the transition from launch into ongoing Shop management.

Seller Center and Ecommerce Operations

• Oversee the ongoing health, accuracy, compliance, and performance readiness of assigned TikTok Shop accounts.
• Manage Seller Center configuration, access, permissions, account settings, campaign enrollment, and account-health monitoring.
• Ensure catalog and PDP accuracy across content, pricing, variants, bundles, inventory, shipping, categories, and listing eligibility.
• Coordinate product feed and Shopify integrations with internal technical teams, clients, and external partners.
• Monitor inventory, fulfillment, returns, customer service dependencies, violations, and Shop performance indicators.
• Ensure new products, bundles, pricing changes, and promotions are correctly reflected across Seller Center and connected systems.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate resolution with TikTok, the client, internal teams, and technology partners.
• Maintain clear documentation of root causes, owners, resolution status, and next steps for material issues.

Promotional and Merchandising Planning

• Develop and maintain account-level promotional and campaign calendars.
• Recommend promotional timing, participating products, pricing, discount levels, bundles, hero SKUs, and paid support.
• Coordinate promotional plans with client priorities, broader marketing calendars, inventory levels, creator content, and media budgets.
• Execute or oversee campaign enrollment and backend promotional requirements in Seller Center.
• Evaluate promotion performance and recommend changes based on GMV, conversion, margin considerations, inventory, and advertising efficiency.
• Ensure promotional recommendations are operationally feasible and do not create avoidable inventory, fulfillment, or profitability risks.

Client Support

• Serve as the primary day-to-day strategic and operational contact for assigned TikTok Shop clients.
• Support client meetings, launch meetings, performance reviews, and planning sessions.
• Present performance findings, risks, priorities, and recommendations in clear business language.
• Clarify client inputs, approvals, inventory needs, platform dependencies, timelines, and expected outcomes.
• Manage account roadmaps and ensure agreed actions have clear owners and deadlines.
• Escalate significant platform, operational, performance, inventory, compliance, or client relationship concerns to the Associate Director.

Reporting and Performance Management

• Own the quality, consistency, and business usefulness of TikTok Shop reporting.
• Partner with analytics and paid media teams to establish reporting definitions, data inputs, dashboards, QA standards, and delivery calendars.
• Connect Shop GMV to product, promotion, creator, advertising, inventory, and operational performance.
• Support turning reporting into clear implications, recommendations, owners, and next actions.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies across Seller Center, TikTok Ads Manager, Shopify, product feeds, and internal reporting systems.
• Maintain visibility into pacing against account goals and flag performance risks early.

Workflow, Enablement, and Quality Assurance

• Maintain QA checkpoints for account setup, product listings, campaigns, feeds, reporting, and client deliverables.
• Monitor and identify risks related to launch volume, account complexity, servicing requirements, and scope.
• Train and support specialists as needed on platform workflows, reporting, troubleshooting, and quality expectations.
• Log recurring issues and convert individual account learnings into broader process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of experience in ecommerce, marketplace operations, social commerce, retail media, paid commerce, digital marketing, or integrated account leadership.
• Hands-on experience managing TikTok Shop accounts, marketplace programs, or comparable ecommerce environments.
• Working knowledge of TikTok Shop Seller Center, Shopping Ads, Shopify, catalog management, product feeds, and ecommerce reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to connect operational execution with commercial growth and translate performance data into clear recommendations.
• Experience supporting client relationships and presenting strategic recommendations.
• Strong understanding of product merchandising, promotional planning, pricing, inventory, fulfillment, and conversion.
• Strong project management skills with experience managing cross-functional launches and complex dependencies.
• Experience following SOPs, quality-control processes, reporting standards, or repeatable operating workflows.
• Ability to prioritize urgent platform issues, client needs, performance opportunities, and planned initiatives.
• Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
• Comfort remaining hands-on while leading workflows and supporting junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Agency experience managing multiple consumer brands across beauty, CPG, home, lifestyle, wellness, or retail.
• Familiarity with creator commerce, affiliate programs, product seeding, shoppable content, and creator-led paid amplification.
• Experience resolving catalog, inventory, integration, fulfillment, or Shop-health issues.
• Experience with ecommerce reporting tools, contribution margin, media efficiency, inventory forecasting, commerce profitability, or TikTok Shop partner relationships.
