Staff Accountant The Staff Accountantis responsible forsupporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role plays a key part in the month-end close process, account reconciliations, journal entries,cash applications,andaccounts payable process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities.This role is ideal for an early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting within a collaborative team environment. Location : Dallas, TX | USA | Full-time Onsite Responsibilities Prepare and postaccuratejournal entriesin accordance withGAAP Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Perform account reconciliations (bank, cash, etc.) Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Analyze financial data and investigate account variances Support accounts payable and receivable processes as needed Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions Maintain supporting documentation for audit purposes Monitor compliance with internal controls and company policies Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency Research and resolve basic accounting discrepancies Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve accounting issues Assist with special projects as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financerequired Proficient in Excel Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals Strong Candidates will Attention to Detail :High levelof accuracy in data entry and reconciliations Analytical Thinking :Ability to investigate variancesand strongproblem solvingskills Accountability & Ownership :Takes responsibility for assigned accountsand follows through on open items Adaptability Skills :Comfortable in a fast-paced or changing environmentand ability to learn new systems/processes quickly Benefits Monthly parking stipend Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Short & Long Term Disability Life Insurance 401k with company match Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave #LifeAtLantern
