Operations Lead

We are seeking a mature, highly motivated, and strategic Operations Lead to oversee and streamline our daily operations, ensure efficiency, and provide hands‑on technical support with the team when needed. This role is essential in supporting our growth, maintaining operational excellence, and driving innovation and organization in everything we do. Department: Operations Project Location(s): Ocean City, MD Compensation: $60K + DOE Key Responsibilities Operational Management: Oversee and optimize day‑to‑day operations, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Team Leadership: In conjunction with Technical Lead, mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture aligned with TRG’s values. Technical Support: Act as a point of escalation for technical issues, assisting the team with troubleshooting and resolving complex system, network, and equipment problems. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements, implementing best practices to enhance productivity and resource management. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support business growth and expansion. Client & Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors to ensure seamless coordination and project success. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, cybersecurity standards, and TRG’s internal policies. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within IT services, telecommunications, or government contracting. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of network engineering, RF systems, and cybersecurity practices, with the ability to assist in hands‑on troubleshooting and support. Leadership & Maturity: Proven ability to lead teams, manage cross‑functional projects, and navigate high‑pressure situations with professionalism and sound judgment. Communication & Problem‑Solving: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
