Physical Therapist

Job Description We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to providepediatric physical therapy services for Early Intervention(birth–3) or school-age students across home, school, andcommunity settings on Long Island. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat children with gross motor delays, mobilitylimitations, neuromuscular conditions, orthopedic impairments, andfunctional movement challenges. This role focuses on improvingstrength, balance, coordination, endurance, and overall functionalparticipation in daily routines and educational environments. The Physical Therapist will collaborate with families, educators,service coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensureconsistent, effective, and child-centered service delivery. Responsibilities include: Conduct physical therapy evaluations anddevelop individualized treatment plans for EI and school-age students Provide direct physical therapy servicesin home-based EI and school-based or community settings Address gross motor development, balance,strength, coordination, posture, gait, and mobility Implement evidence-based, developmentallyappropriate interventions to support functional movement Collaborate with families, teachers, andrelated service providers to support carryover of skills Complete required documentation includingevaluations, session notes, and progress reports Provide consultation and strategies tocaregivers and school staff as appropriate Maintain ethical and professionalstandards in accordance with New York State and APTA guidelines Qualifications Current New York State PhysicalTherapist license required Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) orMaster’s degree from an accredited program Pediatric experience preferred; EI and/orschool-based experience a plus but not required Ability to pass required backgroundchecks and clearances Strong communication, organization, andclinical reasoning skills Ability to work independently acrossmultiple settings while collaborating with a team Professional, reliable, flexible, and child-focused Benefits Flexible schedule Ongoing clinical support Opportunities for advancement Paid sick time Pay: $75–$85 per hour (based on experience, setting, and certifications) Job Type: Part-time, Full-time or Contract Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Simply Innovative Therapies
