Back Accounting Supervisor Accounting Wixom, MI - Direct Hire (Jun 10, 2026) Position Summary Growing manufacturing organization seeks an Accounting Supervisor to support the Controller in overseeing day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end close activities, financial reporting, and process improvements. This role will lead Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while helping ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities Assist with month‑end close, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Supervise and mentor AP and AR team members. Support financial audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting. Analyze financial results and investigate account variances. Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function. Prepare ad hoc reports, analyses, and special projects for leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams. Manufacturing industry experience preferred. CPA, Power BI, or Power Query experience is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
