Implementation Coordinator – College Algebra Hiring Department : OnRamps Position Open To : All Applicants Weekly Scheduled Hours : 40 FLSA Status : Exempt from FLSA Earliest Start Date : Immediately Position Duration : Expected to Continue Location : AUSTIN, TX Job Details General Notes: Implement travel up to 5% across Texas; weekends & evenings may be required for course implementation support during professional learning institutes and enrollment deadlines. Benefits 100% employer‑paid basic medical coverage Retirement contributions Paid vacation and sick time Paid holidays Hybrid telework available Purpose Supports efforts and ensures fidelity of implementation of the OnRamps College Algebra course to coordinate a high-level of instructional and professional development service and support to OnRamps Instructors. Responsibilities Supports OnRamps Instructors in implementing courses with fidelity along the OnRamps Four Pillars. Develops and implements annual professional learning institutes during Summer, Fall, and Spring in collaboration with Course Leads, OnRamps Assistant Director, and the Professional Learning and Development team. Implements ongoing professional development and learning activities through weekly communication, monthly virtual meetings, and professional learning institutes. Develops and implements interventions for instructors with implementation challenges and those onboarded to OnRamps after annual Summer Institutes and throughout the academic year, including virtual meetings, coaching support, and video streaming into classes. Utilizes data to ensure fidelity of implementation using data science methodologies (instructor engagement, pacing, submission rates, performance). Facilitates an instructor support system using mentor instructors and online platforms, and creates video resources modeling pedagogy and challenging content. Supports and engages in designated special projects as assigned to support the mission and strategic direction of OnRamps. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, education, or a related field. Demonstrated understanding of high school teaching and learning. Exceptional customer service skills with decorum and tact. Five years teaching experience at a high school or college level. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Mathematics, education, or a related field. Experience providing support or instructional coaching to teachers. Proficient in Canvas LMS or another LMS. Proficient in Smartsheet or another project management system. Ability to communicate technical information to lay audiences respectfully. Salary $60,000 plus depending on qualifications. Working Conditions Up to 5% travel across Texas; ongoing weekend and evening work during professional learning institutes and enrollment deadlines. May work around standard office conditions. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation. Shared desk environment. Hybrid work environment. Climbing of stairs and use of manual dexterity.
