This position is based in our modern outpatient office, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and rehabilitation tools. Working onsite, you will be part of a collaborative team of healthcare providers, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists. Our office fosters a supportive atmosphere where professionals work together toward common goals, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients. We offer a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with flexible hours that promote work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, utilizing standardized assessment tools and observational techniques.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient, closely collaborating with them to promote their active participation in their own recovery.
• Administering a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and interventions to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and restore physical function.
• Educating patients on effective body mechanics, postural alignment, and injury prevention strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Regularly monitoring patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and documenting every aspect of patient care meticulously.
• Coordinating care with other healthcare providers and specialists to deliver comprehensive treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Engaging with patients to provide emotional support and motivate them through their rehabilitation process, thus enhancing their overall experience and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals with musculoskeletal or neurological disorders, and those seeking rehabilitation after surgery. Our focus on personalized care allows you to build strong relationships with patients as you guide them through their recovery journey.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
• A minimum of five years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of rehabilitation techniques.
• Proficiency in advanced therapeutic modalities and interventions, including manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with patients and colleagues.
• Excellent analytical abilities to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience

Preferred experience includes specialization in areas such as sports rehabilitation, orthopedic therapy, or geriatrics. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth services may also be beneficial, enabling efficient patient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits
