Work Environment

Working onsite at our Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville Beach, you will benefit from a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest therapeutic technology and resources. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools.
• Craft and implement customized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Use a variety of treatment modalities, including evidence-based techniques and hands-on procedures, to relieve pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall function.
• Provide patient education on body mechanics, injury prevention, and exercises that support their treatment plans and long-term wellness.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies based on outcomes and clinical judgment.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to create a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring all aspects of patients' health are considered.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting all treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes in the electronic health record system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population that includes individuals suffering from back and neck pain, joint pain due to osteoarthritis, tendonitis, and post-surgical recovery. Our patients range from athletes seeking to recover from injuries to elderly individuals needing rehabilitation to regain strength and mobility. Each treatment plan is designed to address the unique challenges and goals of the client, ensuring personalized and effective interventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience with a strong background in treating orthopedic and neurological conditions.
