About the Role WebFX is seeking an entry-level candidate for our Earned Media team! Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree (or will soon have one!), and is excited about starting a career in digital marketing and public relations. Related experience is awesome to have, but never required - we'll train you on everything you need to know. The Qualifications: Does This Sound Like You? Do you: Have a bachelor's degree? (OR, are you within 1 year of graduating with your bachelor's degree?) All majors welcome! Have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or above? Have you: Had prior working experience, in any field? (for example, a part-time job, summer job, internship, etc) Are you: Interested in a career in digital public relations and digital marketing? Interested in, and able to work full-time from our office in Harrisburg PA? (if you're still in school, think ahead - this would be for after graduation!) Able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing? A strong researcher? Familiar with using AI tools? Not afraid of numbers, analysis, & new and emerging technology? The Job Responsibilities: What You'll Learn to Do Digitally Network With Publishers (About 30% of your day) Research and outreach online bloggers, publishers, and journalists, maintaining these relationships over time Develop and pitch content ideas to these publishing outlets Drive Client Visibility in AI Search Results (About 25% of your day) Become a specialist in earning references and citations for your clients' in AI search results Secure earned content placements, citations, brand mentions, and back-links across authoritative third-party websites, through your efforts in networking Position your clients for maximum AI and search visibility through strategic publisher placements Manage Strategic Content Placement (About 25% of your day) Manage the content creation workflow from ideation to publication Coordinate content creation and placement Post original digital content relevant to our clients' keywords and SEO and AI Search Visibility campaigns Implement SEO content and link-building best practices Analyze and Research for Best Performance (About 20% of your day) Use web analytics to measure the impact of content campaigns Generate and research topics for web content such as infographics, blog posts, and content promotions Tools/Technical Skills You'll Learn on the Job: (You are not expected to know these in advance - we'll teach you from the ground up!)
