Optometric Technician & Office Assistant

Responsibilities: The Optometric Technician & Office Assistant is at the heart of our business, and the role you will play as part of our team is of utmost importance. We are looking for the right candidate to work with our top-notch doctor and our outstanding staff. Our office not only performs comprehensive eye examinations, but we also offer state-of-the-art testing services to those patients who have medically-related eyecare issues. Your duties will be as follows: Working one-on-one with patients utilizing various state-of-the-art office machines for preliminary and extensive vision testing. Reviewing and updating patient medical histories and chart information. Verifying insurance, scanning documentation, answering phones, as well as scheduling and confirming appointments, Assisting patients with any of their eyewear needs or questions. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent (required). A minimum age requirement of 23 years old. A willingness and reliability to fulfil your obligation to treat every day as a new day, and to have the patience and perseverance to learn new skills. An ability to keep up with a fast-paced office setting. Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
