Associate Attorney

HNE is partnering with a respected law firm specializing in foreclosure and real estate matters to identify an experienced Associate Attorney . This role will work closely with firm leadership and focus on title review, title curative work, and non-judicial foreclosure matters. The position offers flexibility with hybrid or remote options , depending on experience and location, with occasional in-person training as needed. Responsibilities Review title examinations, identify defects, and recommend and execute curative actions Handle both simple and complex title clearance matters efficiently and accurately Analyze foreclosure documents, pleadings, and loan files to ensure compliance and resolve issues Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, reports, and opinions Manage an independent caseload, ensuring timely progression of files Communicate regularly with clients, insurers, vendors, and internal teams Maintain accurate updates in case management and client systems Exercise sound legal judgment to address file-level risks and compliance concerns Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active and in-good-standing Georgia Bar license (required) Minimum 2+ years in real estate law, foreclosure, or title curative work Demonstrated experience reviewing and resolving title issues Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws; familiarity with Georgia title standards preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal/case management systems (e.g., BKFS, Tempo preferred) Additional licensure in AL, TX, or MS is strongly preferred Ideal Candidate Detail-oriented attorney with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload independently Effective communicator who can work professionally with clients, colleagues, and external parties Organized, adaptable, and able to meet tight deadlines Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and strong client service focus Proactive self-starter with excellent time management and follow-through #J-18808-Ljbffr HNE
