Guest Room Attendant, Housekeeping

Summary The Guest Room Attendant will maintain the design and beauty of Resorts World Las Vegas. A clean and polished environment helps lift guests' spirits and creates a friendly, comfortable atmosphere where our guests feel at ease. The Guest Room Attendant also helps to create special moments for our guests. Primary Job Duties Clean and maintain productivity credits per day as assigned. Meet set cleanliness standards set forth by Resorts World Las Vegas. Detail and deep clean rooms as instructed. Clean guest amenities such as in-room trays, casino glassware, tables, ironing boards, and irons, and remove any trash or debris from front-of-house areas. Assist in picking up extra credits when requested. Maintain supply cart in a neat, orderly manner. Restock supply cart as needed throughout the shift. Manage master key operation daily throughout the assigned shift. Adhere to company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Assist coworkers within the housekeeping department as needed. Obtain and maintain position‑specific licensing. Use personal device/cellular phone for job‑related tasks, job duties, and review of company documents. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Cleaning experience and/or formal housekeeping training/certifications, including Culinary Training Academy Certification. Ability to clean with great attention to detail and consistently meet luxury standards while meeting productivity standards. Working knowledge of basic computers, handheld devices, and radios. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to effectively communicate in English. Polished appearance and demeanor. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures. Preferred Working knowledge of Housekeeping Department safety and OSHA regulatory guidelines. Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting. Previous professional cleaning experience. Minimum Education and Experience At least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. 1+ years working as a guest room attendant or equivalent. Certificates, Licenses, Regulations Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work will be on the tower and will require being out in the elements when commuting from the shared garage to the main building. Tasks include: Push/pull loaded housekeeping cart; GRA carts are motorized. Carry up to a minimum of 20 lbs. Frequent and prolonged walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, and bending. Use and handle chemical cleaners in accordance with safety standards. Move furniture and make beds, including sofa beds if the room is equipped with them. Clean low surfaces, such as baseboards and tubs. Walk to various areas of the property to access and clean guest suites, including the utilization of stairs if moving within floors. Operate a cordless vacuum (though we provide corded vacuums). Work in a fast‑paced, busy environment.
