Associate, Fund/Client Accounting Representative I

Associate – Hedge Fund Accounting (Lake Mary, FL) Join BNY’s Hedge Fund Accounting team and make an impact on daily, weekly, and monthly accounting and reporting for funds of higher complexity. Key Responsibilities Review data and assist in resolving escalated accounting and reporting issues. Track data and maintain accounting records in accordance with departmental policies. Develop data maintenance and summarization processes to improve team efficiency. Lead preparation of system-generated reports, coordinate review, and share reports with accounting teams. Supervise the work of junior team members. Maintain relationships with client staff, exchanging information on cash, accounting, and reporting activities. Communicate data needs and answer client questions. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce audit and financial exposure. Support the achievement of team objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferably 3+ years of total work experience, with experience in accounting support preferred.
