A skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Orlando, FL is hiring a strong Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to work alongside the Director of Nursing (DON) and help run the nursing department. Part of an established, multi-facility Florida organization that promotes from within, this building gives an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) real room to grow. Prior nursing home experience is required.
The right Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is easygoing with high standards: kind with residents and families, tight with the supervisors, and sharp on documentation and rehospitalization rates.

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Duties
Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in leading supervisors, Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
Help drive down rehospitalizations and hospital returns through close clinical oversight
Partner daily with nursing supervisors on operations and staffing
Ensure accurate, complete clinical documentation and survey readiness
Serve as a clinical point of contact for residents and families

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications
Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) experience in a nursing home
Must have experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting
Stable tenure in prior roles (3+ years per role)
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
