Job Description:

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Integration / Data Conversion Consultant with strong hands-on experience in InterSystems HIE, CCD/CCDA, XSLT, XML, and Epic data integration .
• The consultant will support a time-sensitive healthcare technology migration project involving the replacement of an existing HIE/Client Exchange application and migration/conversion of workloads and healthcare data to Epic-native technologies .
• The project is already progressing successfully; however, the team has encountered challenges and roadblocks specifically around data conversion and transformation .
• The consultant will be responsible for helping the project team resolve these issues and successfully convert existing healthcare data into formats that can be consumed by Epic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract healthcare data from InterSystems HIE and related HIE environments.
• Analyze existing healthcare data structures and determine the appropriate conversion approach for Epic.

• Transform and convert data from the existing HIE/Client Exchange environment into Epic-compatible formats .

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot XSLT transformations for CCD/CCDA documents.
• Perform CCD/CCDA data transformation for Epic consumption.
• Identify and resolve data conversion and transformation issues.
• Troubleshoot existing conversion processes and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Validate converted data for accuracy, completeness, and compatibility with Epic.
• Work closely with Epic, integration, and healthcare IT teams to understand data requirements.
• Support migration activities and ensure data is successfully transitioned to Epic-native technologies.
• Review existing mappings, transformation logic, and healthcare data formats.
• Assist with testing, validation, and resolution of data conversion defects.
• Document transformation logic, issues, and solutions as required.

Required Technical Skills:

Must Have:

• Strong hands-on experience with InterSystems HIE
• Experience extracting data from InterSystems HIE
• Strong experience with CCD/CCDA
• Hands-on XSLT transformation experience
• Strong XML knowledge
• Experience transforming healthcare data for Epic
• Healthcare data integration / interoperability experience
• Experience with healthcare data migration or conversion
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data transformation issues
