Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients, including infants under 24-28 weeks gestation, in a Level II NICU within a short-term acute care facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Spokane, Washington
• Patient Age Groups: Neonates, including infants under 24-28 weeks gestation
• Shift Details: Nights, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid Allied license (if applicable), at least 2 years of neonatal intensive care experience, current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications, experience with arterial line management, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation, ventilator management, and use of Epic electronic charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Ventilators managed by respiratory therapists and prior exposure to Epic charting system.
• Additional Information: Travelers are expected to float between units, possibly once every six months; weekends are scheduled every other or every third. Compliance document deadline is Monday prior to start, and all specific scheduling requests must be approved upfront during the submittal. Post submittal/offer, RTO requests may not be considered or granted. Candidates should include responses to questions regarding prior employment at a similar facility and references covering the last three years.
