Painter

Type: Full-Time (Regular Working Hours: 7am-3:30pm, or 6am-2:30pm Weekdays)

Pay Range: $20.00 and up / Hour (Dependent on experience)

Job Description:

The primary responsibilities of this role are to paint new construction homes, repaint residential spaces, carry out touch-ups and warranty calls, and occasionally paint commercial spaces. Tasks within these, as well as additional responsibilities, include:

· Cutting in/brushwork

· Rolling

· Prepping walls (Sanding, spackle, etc.)

· Prepping newly installed trim-work (putty, caulk, sanding, and repair work where necessary)

· Masking, building spray booths

· Spraying finishes (primarily on trim work but may also help spray walls/ceilings)

· Maintaining company spray pumps

· Staining and clear coating (lacquer, polyurethane, etc.)

· Utilize various ladders and scaffolds

· Painting exteriors (Primarily trim and doors by hand, but also occasionally larger exteriors that may require spraying)

· Floor coatings

· Depending on experience, may also carry out cabinet projects

· Responsible for their own toolkit (apart communal tools: long ladders, scaffold, spray pumps, etc)
