Production Operator - 2nd Shift

Our client is a leading manufacturer committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. They are looking for a dependable Production Operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a long-term career.

Schedule
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Training: Candidates must be available to train on 1st Shift for the first 3-6 weeks before transitioning to the regular 2nd Shift schedule.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

-Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
-Perform equipment changeovers, preventative maintenance, quality inspections, and maintain accurate production documentation.
-Monitor machine performance, identify process improvements, troubleshoot equipment issues, and communicate production concerns with maintenance and leadership.
-Train team members, follow GMP, HACCP, and safety procedures, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to support world-class manufacturing.

Required Skills & Experience

-High School Diploma or GED required.
-Experience operating production or manufacturing equipment in an industrial environment.
-Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and accurately complete production documentation.
-Knowledge of workplace safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

-Experience in food manufacturing or other GMP/HACCP-regulated production environments.
-Experience operating forklifts, powered industrial trucks, boom lifts, scissor lifts, or working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Pay Rate Range - 23-27 per hour
