Vans: Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives

What will you do? A Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives will drive incremental growth opportunities beyond the core business. Responsibilities include evaluating licensing, collaboration, and non‑traditional revenue options and building business cases to guide investment decisions. Identify and evaluate licensing, collaborations, and other revenue opportunities and build business cases and revenue forecasts. Support partnerships from concept through launch and beyond, shaping deal structures, tracking performance, and informing renewal or exit decisions. Manage day‑to‑day relationships with external partners and licensors, coordinating contracts, governance, and business reviews with internal teams. Partner cross‑functionally with Product, Design, Marketing, Operations, GTM, Finance, and Legal to align timelines, deliverables, and go‑to‑market plans across multiple initiatives. Build and manage a pipeline of future partnership opportunities and help establish tools, reporting, and processes to support scaling over time. Qualifications 7–10+ years of experience in licensing, partnerships, business development, or a related commercial role. Experience developing and executing licensing or partnership initiatives with external partners. Strong analytical and financial skills, including building business cases, revenue forecasts, and performance tracking. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional work in a matrixed organization and keep multiple initiatives moving forward. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external partners. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus. Preferred experience supporting opportunities that can scale across regions, channels, or product categories. Compensation and Benefits Hiring Range: $132,192.00 USD – $165,240.00 USD annually. Eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
