About the Role
The Company is in search of a Volunteer Board Vice President to join its mission of advancing mindfulness for well-being. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board President and Executive Director, providing essential leadership and governance to ensure the organization's vision is realized. This role is pivotal in strategic decision-making, board engagement, and resource development, with a focus on advocating for mindfulness and social-emotional learning in the community. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Board President, chairing the Governance Committee, supporting board development, and serving as a liaison between the board, executive leadership, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a committed and experienced leader with a passion for the mission, possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, and be willing to engage in fundraising and resource development. Applicants for the Volunteer Board Vice President position at the company should have a background in nonprofit governance, leadership, and/or strategic planning. The role requires a candidate who is ready to make a profound impact and help shape the future of the organization.
