Duties and responsibilities related to the Director of Sales role Create and implement the Hotel Sales Strategy to achieve forecasted and budgeted revenues. Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly revenue forecasting. Manage and develop the Sales team, setting clear objectives and driving performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through direct sales, trade events, and networking. Ensure all sales proposals, contracts, and communications comply with brand standards and hotel policies. Review room and event space inventory and implement strategies to maximise revenue opportunities. Collaborate with Revenue, Operations, and other departments to drive commercial performance. Monitor sales activity and market trends, adapting strategies to achieve business goals. Maintain departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost controls. Foster a high-performing sales culture through coaching, training, and leadership. About you You are an accomplished sales leader with significant experience in hotel sales, ideally within a luxury or five-star environment. You have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing strong client relationships, and leading high-performing teams.
