This section manages a wide range of civil matters involving the City, including public records, contracts, land use, elections, zoning, personal injury, civil rights, employment, and more. Key duties include drafting, reviewing, processing, and organizing legal documents; scheduling and attending meetings, hearings, and court dates; and maintaining litigation deadlines and case files.
