City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift Rotating Shift Full-time - 8 hour shifts starting at 8am. Call Required. Overview Sentara Beach Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Echocardiographer. Position Overview The Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. The role includes work in the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU, and bedside patient care. Responsibilities Perform cardiac ultrasound studies and interpret findings in a variety of clinical settings, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support patient care decisions. Required Education Bachelor’s Level Degree, Associate’s Level Degree – CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Diploma. Echo Tech experience in lieu of education: Yes. License and Certifications Basic Life Support required. Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.
