Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support the financial operations of a healthcare system, the full-time remote Accountant will prepare and analyze financial statements, manage journal entries, and ensure compliance with accounting procedures. Key responsibilities Prepares, reconciles, and analyzes routine and complex financial statements and reports Conducts compliance verification and assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements and annual audits Manages grant accounting functions, including financial reporting and budget administration for grants Required qualifications Graduation from an accredited college with a major in accounting or a related field One to three years of general ledger experience in an automated environment preferred Strong spreadsheet skills, particularly in Excel Demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting systems Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic and integrity
