About the role: Join a fast-growing, engineering-driven beverage manufacturing startup that partners with the world's leading alcohol brands. In this role, you'll be the technical authority driving operational excellence for 50ml bottling at Very Good, including spearheading major line upgrades and expansions planned. Compensation: DOE Schedule: Weekdays Key responsibilities: Own daily technical operations, performance, and efficiency of our 50ml bottling line (high-speed production). Lead implementation of new equipment, system integrations, and upcoming line upgrades or expansions. Develop and mentor bottling line mechanics, operators, and team leads to build a world-class technical team. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on: - Line efficiency (throughput, changeover time, inspection system optimization) - Preventive maintenance programs tailored to each work center - Integration of automation, vision systems, and OEE tracking tools Manage relationships and allocate resources for contractors, OEM technicians, and equipment vendors. Collaborate with Engineering to standardize existing processes and drive optimization initiatives — including automation opportunities, layout redesigns, and liquid-handling improvements. Serve as the primary technical resource for Quality Control on key quality checks such as fill accuracy, cap torque, seal integrity, and package appearance.
