President/CEO

Responsibilities The President/CEO will work closely with the senior leadership team, Board of Directors, and key stakeholders to improve operations, grow staff leaders, define and advance strategic priorities, and create a clear and actionable path forward. Drive financial success, strengthen internal alignment, and ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality programs that meet community needs. Serve as an external, visible, engaged, and credible leader to strengthen partnerships, expand philanthropic support, and reinforce the YMCA’s role as a trusted community anchor. Provide clear direction, align stakeholders, and ensure long‑term sustainability, relevance, and impact in the community. Direct Reports Executive VP / COO Executive VP / CFO Executive VP / CPO (Chief Program Officer) Executive VP / CHRO VP – Development VP – Programs Qualifications Accredited 4‑year college degree and/or equivalent work experience. Fiscally sound business management and accountability, with a proven track record of budgetary and fiscal management of more than $10M annually. Minimum seven years prior experience in a senior management role with a YMCA or a comparable organization, with direct supervision of multiple levels of staff and employees. Ability to develop and strengthen community relationships. Demonstrated experience in organizational culture and change management. Ability to develop innovative programs, review and enhance programs for both economic and effectiveness in broadening community engagement. Strategic planning and fundraising experience, including annual campaigns and the securing of grants.
