Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and IV skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Previous travel nursing experience a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with interventional radiology procedures, monitoring patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Administer medications, start IVs, and manage sedation as needed
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
