Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Title: Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer Duration: Contract - 10 months Pay Range: $65.05/hr (W2) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to join our Treasury technology team. The role focuses on developing new functionality in an established core application to enhance Resolution & Recovery Planning (RRP) capabilities and support trade bookings and Funds Transfer Pricing. The environment follows Scrum Agile with collaboration alongside a team lead and internal lines of business and technology units. Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance Treasury system features supporting RRP and GRRP processes. Implement and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL components including procedures, packages, and triggers. Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SQL*Loader, External Tables, and file-based integrations. Develop batch automation via Linux/Unix shell scripts for operational workflows. Support trade booking workflows and Funds Transfer Pricing within Treasury applications. Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate with internal LOB and Technology stakeholders. Ensure code quality, reliability, and recoverability with strong exception handling and testing. Required Skills & Qualifications Advanced SQL mastery, including complex joins, subqueries, and analytical functions. Strong PL/SQL with procedural blocks, stored procedures/functions/packages, and database triggers. Cursor management with static, dynamic, and REF CURSOR types and robust exception handling. Collections and records, including nested tables and associative arrays. ETL design using SQL*Loader, External Tables, and UTL_FILE. Experience with Oracle SQL Developer or PL/SQL Developer IDEs. Basic Linux/Unix shell scripting for batch automation. Understanding of financial and managerial accounting concepts under GAAP and IFRS. Knowledge of change management functions within bank operations. Proficiency in C#, .NET, and SQL in enterprise environments. Preferred Skills Experience in Treasury, Balance Sheet Management (BSM), Funds Transfer Pricing, and CCAR processes. Background with regulatory planning domains such as RRP and GRRP. Proven track record of hands‑on software development and architecture recognized by peers. Experience working in Scrum Agile with team‑lead collaboration.
