Job Overview As a Carrier Sales Specialist at RXO, you will source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move available freight in a timely and cost-effective manner. Please note this is an on-site role located in our Atlanta office. Responsibilities What your day-to-day will look like: e:Cultivate strong core carrier relationships while negotiating and securing carriers to move freig htMaintain continuous communication with carriers and customers to ensure a high-quality freight movement proce ssEnsure all parties are informed of route changes, delays, freight concerns, or other issues as necessa rySchedule pickup and delivery appointment times while considering factors such as weather, traffic, mileage, and service requiremen tsFollow established procedures and protocols regarding HVS and HRC loads to ensure shipment integrity and protect the RXO bra ndAccurately maintain and update information within company operating syste msConduct research in available databases for potential leads and make cold calls to prospec tsTrack back-end billing and invoicing to ensure carrier charges are accura Peak Project Participation ionThis role includes participation in RXO’s dedicated Peak Project supporting Local or Expedite accounts fr om November 10 through December 24. During this assignment, team members will support a critical 24/7 customer operation in a fast-paced environment.
